Sales Terms and Conditions

By shopping online or in store, all customers accept the following general sales terms and conditions along with all other policies of Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd. The following terms and conditions are applicable to customers who shop online at store.nintendo.co.za or the Nintendo branded store (referred to 'Nintendo Branded Stores' moving forward.)

The Nintendo Branded Stores are owned and operated by  Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd.

The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd’s terms and conditions do not permit minors to make purchases or engage in other legal acts in relation to our products and services without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Returns, refunds and exchanges
You may return unopened and fully sealed products purchased, that qualify to be returned, at Nintendo Branded Stores and receive a full refund of the purchase price within the first 7 days of the invoice date. You will only be eligible for a refund if the product is returned to The Nintendo Branded Stores together with the original tax invoice. If an item is purchased via the online store a refund can not be processed in a physical store. Should you wish to receive a refund please email a request to distributorsa@nintendo.co.za You may return or exchange opened and unsealed products purchased at a Nintendo Branded Stores physical store within 10 days of the date of purchase, please note that a 20% handling fee will be deducted off of the purchase price on opened/used products. 

The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd levies a charge of 20% of the recommend retail price of the product on returns of unsealed products to cover the costs of repackaging the product for sale. You will only be eligible for a refund if the product is returned to the Nintendo Branded Store you purchased from together with all its accessories, the original product packaging, original tax invoice and subject to an Internal inspection of the product at our Service Centre. 

All faulty products will be covered in the relevant product warranty.  Where you are eligible for a refund, the purchase price will be refunded to your credit card or, if you paid using another payment method, by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to your bank account.  For this purpose you may be required to provide your bank account details to The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd. EFT payment takes 14 working days to process.

Unsealed software products, software subscriptions, gift cards, in-ear products may not be returned to the Nintendo Branded Stores and are not eligible for refunds. Products purchased via the credit payment option, Mobicred, is not eligible to be returned or refunded.

Pre-orders
Pre-order release dates and pricing are subject to change without prior notice. Any delays or changes will be communicated as soon as possible. To ensure delivery on launch day, it is recommended to place your pre-order three (3) working days before the anticipated release date. Launch day delivery cannot be guaranteed if your pre-order is placed after this recommended date. Should any other available products be added to your pre-order, the entire order will be shipped for delivery on the pre-ordered product's launch date. If you would like the available products shipped immediately, please order and pay for these separately.

Warranties

The products and services that are sold by the Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd are sold “as is” and “as available”. The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd does not give any express guarantee or warranty regarding the performance of any product or services and excludes any implied warranties to the full extent that is permitted by law.  The manufacturers of the products sold by the Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd may provide a manufacturer’s warranty in respect of their branded products.  This manufacturer’s warranty is not given by the Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd although we may be responsible for providing certain warranty services under this manufacturer’s warranty in terms of its arrangements with those manufacturers.

In the event of a device requiring service, you are responsible to ensure that any screen protector, cover or third party add-on is removed prior to obtaining service.
The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for the cost to replace any third party add-on’s such as “Screen protectors, Covers etc” as these will have to be removed in order to facilitate any form of service / assessment. Each product sold by the Nintendo Branded Stores may have a specific service strategy whereby service can only be facilitated via a whole unit replacement. Please refer to the manufacturers warranty for your specific product model to confirm what type of repair options are available for your device as this may vary.

 

Pricing changes
The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd reserves the right at any time and without giving you any advance notice to make changes to the prices of goods and services that are sold through  Nintendo Branded Stores and to correct any pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. The Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any typographical errors that may occur.

Business terms and conditions
Quotations are valid for 7 days, however due to the volatility of the Rand/USD & Rand/Euro exchange rate, please note that prices published by the Core Computer Business (Pty) Ltd business may change without notice. 

Float
Float is a checkout payment solution that enables shoppers to split purchases into interest-free, fee-free monthly instalments. Customer's can only use their existing Visa or Mastercard credit card. Debit Cards will not be accepted. Credit is solely dependant on funds available in your Visa or Mastercard credit card. Float does not impose further minimum or maximum order value. Payment terms will range between 2 - 6 months for products purchased on the store.nintendo.co.za website. Float may place a pre-authorisation (also known as a “reserve”) as a temporary hold against the credit you have available to spend on your credit card. This is not a charge and is interest-free. Float payment method is available online only on the store.nintendo.co.za website. All returns and refunds to be processed using our existing returns policy. Once finalised, Float will adjust your instalment plan or refund money back to you accordingly based on the existing policy.

Mobicred
Mobicred is an online revolving credit facility that allows you to spend and repay the amount in monthly instalments. The displayed monthly payment amount is indicative monthly pricing for 12 months at 21.25% interest per annum including a monthly fee but excludes a once-off account Initiation Fee. Please note the interest rate is subject to change. NCRCP38/FSP 44481

Star Bundles
Star Bundles offered are subject to terms and conditions. These promotions are only limited to a select range of products, that can be changed at any time without advance notification. Games included in these bundles are limited to a select 1st party range. Not all games qualify for this discount. Promotions and/or discounts offered is off of the Recommended Retail Price of each individual product.
