Referral Program

With our Nintendo Switch referral program, it really pays to have friends. Let your friends know how much you love your Nintendo Switch and you could both earn a reward. 

How it works:

Ensure you have an account registered on our Nintendo Online store with url: store.nintendo.co.za 

As the advocate, you refer friends through your unique referral link. Get access to your unique referral link through the customer panel launcher on the site. You can’t miss the launcher, it should be at the bottom right of your screen marked with a star. You can share your unique referral link from directly within the customer panel through default sharing options through Facebook, Twitter and email. You are also able to copy your unique link and share it with friends and family on another platform that is more convenient for you. 

When your friend clicks on the link you shared with them, they will be directed to our online store and prompted to enter their email address. Once the email address has been entered, your friend can claim their reward. They will have the ability to click ‘Apply Code’ which directly adds the code to their shopping cart. Your friend will receive R250 discount on their purchase of a Nintendo Switch Console or Nintendo Switch Lite console if they proceed to make the purchase. If your friend has checked out as a guest before on our store, or entered their email in any capacity they will not be able to use the referral link and will therefore not be eligible to redeem the reward. 

If and when your friend completes the purchase of their new Nintendo Switch console using your unique referral link, you as the advocate will receive an email confirmation with your reward. The advocate reward is R250 discount off your next order placed on the online store with a minimum order value of R999 and is not applicable to Vodacom cellular contracts. The referral program discount is not applicable to the Star Bundle promotion on the website and friends will not be able to redeem the referral discount on a star bundle purchase.
