Terms & Conditions
The Pokémon Day – “What’s Your Favourite?” Competition (“Competition”) is operated by Nintendo Distributor South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Promoter”).
These Terms and Conditions apply to all persons (“Participants”) entering the Competition.
Participation in the Competition constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Participation is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older. Employees, directors, agents, and immediate family members of the Promoter, their associated companies, agencies, or suppliers involved in the Competition are not eligible to participate.
Each Participant may only enter and/or win once during the Competition Period.
1. Competition Period
- The Competition will run from 27 February 2026 to 08 March 2026 (“Competition Period”).
- Entries received outside of the Competition Period will not be considered.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice and without liability.
2. How to Enter
- To enter, Participants must purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 during the Competition Period.
- Purchases are valid: Online at store.nintendo.co.za and in-store at the Nintendo Store in Sandton City.
- Participants must purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle in order to stand a chance to win.
- Only completed entries with Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle purchase will be eligible.
3. The Prize
The prize for this Competition is:
1 x LEGO Pokémon Pikachu & Poké Ball Set
Prize Conditions:

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be exchanged for cash.

Any expenses not explicitly included in these Terms and Conditions are for the winner’s own account.

If the winner is unable to accept or utilise the prize, the prize will be forfeited in full.
4. Winner Selection & Notification
- One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period.
- The draw will take place within 7 (seven) working days after 08 March 2026.
- The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided at entry.
- Notification does not constitute confirmation of winning. The winner will be required to provide valid identification and proof of purchase for verification purposes.
- Should the winner be unreachable, fail verification, or not respond within 3 (three) working days of notification, the prize may be forfeited and a replacement winner selected.
5. Personal Information
- Personal information collected during the Competition will be used solely for administering the Competition and prize fulfilment, unless the Participant consents to additional marketing communication.
- Participants consent to the use of their name and/or likeness for promotional purposes related to the Competition, without further compensation, unless they decline in writing.
- All personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
6. General
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who:

Provides false or misleading information,

Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the Competition process,

Breaches any of these Terms and Conditions.
Fraudulent or suspicious activity may result in disqualification without notice.
Participation is at the Participant’s own risk. The Promoter will not be liable for:

Any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Competition,

Technical failures affecting entry submission,
-
Acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
These Terms and Conditions will be made available on the Promoter’s official communication channels and in-store upon request.
